Reports indicate separate serious tractor accidents occurring in different Austrian regions.

In late September, two 16-year-olds were injured in Salzburg when a tractor veered off the L246 state road and plunged approximately 30 meters into a ditch. One teenager sustained serious injuries and required an emergency helicopter airlift, while the second sustained minor injuries.

In mid-October, a 49-year-old agricultural worker died in Brunn am Gebirge, Lower Austria. The individual reportedly lost control of a tractor while maneuvering on a vineyard path, causing the vehicle to fall five to six meters down an embankment. Emergency responders used hydraulic equipment to free the driver, but the man could not be saved despite resuscitation efforts.
