German police are investigating several distinct traffic incidents involving cyclists and motorists. 

In Heidelberg, a 66-year-old cyclist was seriously injured after a collision on Liebermannstraße; the individual involved fled the scene before emergency services arrived. In Spergau, a 28-year-old cyclist suffered severe injuries after being struck by a black pickup truck, the driver of which also fled the scene. 

In the Osterode region, a 26-year-old driver crashed an Audi on the B243 near Seesen and attempted to flee on foot, but was located via helicopter; authorities noted signs of intoxication. Additionally, in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district, a 24-year-old cyclist sustained minor injuries following a collision with a car in Mellenbach during an overtaking maneuver.
