In Gia Lai province, Vietnam, a series of traffic accidents resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries.

On September 23, a sleeper bus operated by the Bảy Tàu transport company collided with a motorcycle and a parked taxi at the intersection of National Highway 1 and National Highway 19B. The collision caused the bus to overturn, leading to two deaths—a motorcyclist and a female passenger—and several injuries, including children. 

In a separate incident on September 21, a collision between a car and a motorcycle on National Highway 19C in Tuy Phước commune caused one fatality. Preliminary investigations into that crash indicated the car driver had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.461 mg/l. Local police are investigating both incidents.
