Traffic accidents have been reported in the Wels-Land district of Austria. On August 5, a two-vehicle collision described as a “Streifkollision” (glancing blow) occurred at the intersection of Wiener Straße and Nelkenstraße near Gunskirchen, resulting in three light injuries.

On August 14, a more serious accident took place on the A1 Westautobahn near Sattledt, where a minibus collided with the rear of a semi-trailer truck. This incident resulted in seven injuries, including children, and required hydraulic rescue equipment to free a trapped passenger. During the response to this collision, police also had to intervene when a driver entered the highway traveling the wrong way.
