In mid-October, the Cuenca Local Police announced temporary traffic changes for October 13 to facilitate the installation of an electrical transformer. These measures included the closure of Santa Inés street and a temporary reversal of traffic direction on Diego Jiménez street.

By late October, the Municipal Mobility Company (EMOV EP) announced a different set of restrictions for October 29. An eight-and-a-half-hour road closure was scheduled in the Historic Center to accommodate the ‘Cuenca entre Monumentos y Memorias’ student parade celebrating the city’s independence.
