Villarreal winger Alberto Moleiro has emerged as a significant transfer target for major European clubs. Initially, FC Barcelona identified the 23-year-old as a priority target for the summer window, reportedly placing him ahead of Nico Williams on their shortlist and initiating preliminary contact with his agents.

Following this interest, Chelsea FC reportedly entered the pursuit following a request from manager Xabi Alonso. Chelsea is considering an offer near €50 million, which approaches the lower end of Moleiro’s estimated €50 million to €60 million release clause. However, Moleiro is said to favor a move to FC Barcelona, which may pose an obstacle to Chelsea’s efforts.
