Galatasaray has officially announced the loan signing of 21-year-old French defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu from RB Leipzig for the 2026-2027 season. 

The finalized agreement includes a 2 million Euro loan fee and a net fixed salary of 2 million Euro. As part of the deal, Galatasaray holds a discretionary option to purchase the player’s permanent rights for 28 million Euro. 

Bitshiabu, a former Paris Saint-Germain academy player, arrived in Istanbul via private flight to undergo medical examinations. Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek characterized the defender as an “important addition to the squad,” while Bitshiabu expressed excitement regarding his move to the club.
