Developments: 2. Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi has emerged as a major transfer target for several elite European clubs. Following a season where he scored 13 goals, the 20-year-old Frenchman is being monitored by Barcelona, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur. Bournemouth has reportedly set a valuation for the player between €90 million and €100 million. Kroupi is currently recovering from surgery on a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot, with a return to action expected in late October or early November. Recent reports indicate that Kroupi has expressed a strong desire to join Barcelona, describing the club as his “dream club” and a potential long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski. However, the potential move faces complications due to a strained relationship between Kroupi’s agent, Moussa Sissoko, and Barcelona president Joan Laporta. While efforts are being made to rebuild ties with sporting director Deco, interest from other clubs like Paris Saint-Germain remains a factor. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-11: Eli Junior Kroupi reportedly desires transfer to Barcelona Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi reportedly wants to join Barcelona, though agent relations with club president Joan Laporta may complicate the potential transfer. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/eli-junior-kroupi-reportedly-desires-transfer-to-barcelona ### 2026-10-02: Eli Junior Kroupi targeted by Barcelona, Arsenal, and Tottenham Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi is attracting interest from Barcelona, Arsenal, and Tottenham as he recovers from a foot injury.
