Bayer Leverkusen defender Jarell Quansah has emerged as a significant transfer target for several major European clubs. Initially, reports indicated that Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Arsenal were all interested in the 23-year-old England international. Arsenal had previously seen a bid of approximately €65 million rejected by Leverkusen.

As interest continues, Real Madrid is specifically monitoring Quansah to bolster their defense, noting his tactical flexibility to play as both a center-back and a right-back. Chelsea has also reportedly made inquiries regarding his potential return to the Premier League.

Quansah has established himself as a key player at Leverkusen, recording five goals and 13 clean sheets in 44 appearances during his debut campaign. While Leverkusen is not in a rush to sell the defender, who is under contract until 2030, any potential transfer remains complicated by a buy-back clause held by his former club, Liverpool. This clause, estimated to be worth between £59.5 million and €70 million, remains valid until June 2027. Liverpool is reportedly monitoring developments regarding the player's future.
