English Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester United have expressed interest in Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal. Chelsea reportedly views the 19-year-old as a potential successor to Enzo Fernandez, with a possible approach planned for the January transfer window. While Bernal is valued at approximately £26 million, Barcelona maintains leverage through a contract extending until June 2029 and a €500 million buyout clause.

As the situation develops, Bernal is reportedly considering a move to secure more regular playing time. Although Barcelona manager Hansi Flick views him as a vital part of the club’s future, increased competition in the midfield—including the presence of Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, and Rodri—has raised concerns regarding his continuity on the pitch.
