Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce set a new NFL career record for yards after catch (YAC) during an overtime victory against the Indianapolis Colts. Kelce surpassed previous marks held by players including Marshall Faulk, Terrell Owens, and Steve Smith.

Kelce attributed the milestone to his teammates and team playcalling. The achievement occurred alongside other league developments, including fines issued to Denver Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton for unnecessary roughness and Chiefs safety Jaden Hicks for a hit on a quarterback.
