The enterprise Trepča jug, managed by temporary institutions in Pristina, has initiated a series of actions to reclaim property in northern Kosovo. On August 28, the company issued notices in Zvečan ordering users to vacate garages and commercial premises within 10 days, citing a lack of formal usage contracts. This followed previous demolitions of structures at Gazivode Lake.

By late August, the company expanded its efforts to North Mitrovica. On August 31, Trepča jug requested the evacuation of a building on Kolašinska Street near the main Ibar Bridge promenade, which is currently used by pensioners. This followed the company’s takeover of several properties in Zvečan, including a parking area exceeding 1,500 square meters and business premises on Kralja Milutina Street. Trepča jug has stated on social media that it is reclaiming management of its property after 27 years.

On September 8, the company seized additional premises located near Braće Milić Square in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, claiming ownership. This takeover follows a notice issued on August 27, which had demanded the evacuation of the disputed premises within seven days and required the provision of documentation proving the right to use the space.
