Following the death of singer Hany Shaker, various tributes have been organized to honor his musical legacy. The Cairo Opera House announced the installation of a statue dedicated to the late artist, an initiative coinciding with the 34th edition of the Arab Music Festival and Conference, which was named in his honor.

During the festival, a cultural seminar titled ‘Prince of Arabic Singing’ was held to discuss Shaker’s career and impact. His widow, Nahla Tawfik, received an honorary shield and certificate during a tribute night that included a documentary film about his life.

In subsequent reflections, Tawfik discussed Shaker’s final medical struggles, including his treatment in France prior to his passing in May. She also commented on the emotional experience of accepting honors at the Cairo Opera House in his absence.
