Artistic tributes to the late Italian singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla have continued through various musical, theatrical, and cinematic formats.

In late August 2026, Peppe Servillo, Javier Girotto, and Natalio Mangalavite performed a tribute titled ‘L’anno che verrà – Canzoni di Lucio Dalla’ at the Teatro Cavallino Bianco in Galatina. By mid-September 2026, new large-scale projects were announced, including a new opera titled ‘L’anno che verrà’, conceived by Marcello Corvino and directed by Manuel Renga, scheduled to tour Italian theaters starting in December 2026.

On September 16, 2026, Sony Music Italy, in collaboration with the Fondazione Lucio Dalla and Pressing Line, released the ‘Sono Lucio’ anthology. This collection features high-resolution remastered tracks from original analog tapes, including ‘Caruso’, ‘L’anno che verrà’, and ‘Anna e Marco’. The release includes digital formats, double CDs, and two vinyl editions: a standard 180g black double LP and a limited-edition ‘Azzurro Mare’ colored double LP. The project incorporates photography by Luigi Ghirri and Dalla’s original calligraphy. Stella Caracchi of the Fondazione Lucio Dalla stated that the anthology reinforces the commitment to preserving the artist's unique contribution to Italian culture.

In late September 2026, production began on ‘Lucio’, a television biopic chronicling the life of the Bolognese singer-songwriter. Directed by Ambrogio Lo Giudice and written by Lo Giudice, Stefano Sardo, and Stefano Rulli, filming commenced in Bologna and is set to continue in Sorrento. The project, a collaboration between Compagnia Leone Cinematografica and Rai Fiction, stars Valentino Aquilano in the title role, with Giovanna Mezzogiorno appearing as Dalla’s mother, Iole. The production has received support from the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission and the Ministry of Culture, aiming to explore the artist's formative years and musical journey. The cast also includes Tredici Pietro as a young Gianni Morandi and Gabriele Falsetta as Gino Paoli.
