The Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Services has expanded its digital social welfare initiatives and seasonal support measures. Through the AI integrated ‘Ailekart’ application, the ministry has distributed over 56 billion lira to eligible citizens. This system consolidates 15 types of assistance, including birth assistance, disability and elderly pensions, and utility support, into a single digital platform.

In addition to digital payment distribution, the ministry has issued a nationwide directive to address the needs of homeless and destitute citizens ahead of the winter season. Under this directive, authorities across 81 provinces are tasked with identifying individuals without shelter to provide accommodation in public guesthouses and hotels. The initiative also aims to provide food, clothing, healthcare, and psychosocial support to those in need.
