Turkish dental education institutions are reporting expansions in both graduation numbers and specialized training capacities.

At Çukurova University, 110 dentists recently graduated, though the President of the Adana Chamber of Dentists, Dr. Hasan Boğa, noted that potential reductions in faculty quotas might affect future employment levels. Meanwhile, Karabük University has launched new specialization programs in Endodontics and Pediatric Dentistry in coordination with local health research hospitals.

Adnan Menderes University has also increased its capacity, enrolling 103 undergraduate and 16 specialty students. The faculty has implemented an Integrated Clinical Education Model and doubled its clinical infrastructure by launching an Integrated Clinic with 25 dental units. The university has also expanded its capacity for dental treatments performed under general anesthesia to better serve patients with special needs.
