The Turkish drama series ‘Sevdam Karadeniz’ is set to air on NOW TV, with filming taking place in Trabzon. The plot focuses on a historical feud between the Hafize Alazlı and Durali Yeniceli families in the Black Sea region.

The narrative follows the grandchildren of these rival families, Kuzey and Zeyşan, who are pushed into a forced marriage due to the conflict. The storyline involves the character Zeyşan Yeniceli Alazlı returning to Trabzon after 17 years in Istanbul, an event that reignites the animosity between the families.

While viewers have speculated whether the story is based on real events, there has been no official confirmation that the series is anything other than an original script written by Yeşim Gülay, Özge Korkmaz, and Zeynep Şirin.
