As the Trendyol Süper Lig resumes for its 7th week following the international break, matches are scheduled to take place from October 9 to October 12, 2026. Galatasaray begins this period hosting Kasımpaşa at Rams Park on Friday, October 9. The club continues to manage a rigorous 30-day schedule involving eight official matches, including Champions League encounters against Barcelona, Lille, and Stuttgart. Alongside managing player fitness for Victor Osimhen, Wilfried Singo, and Roland Sallai, the club has launched a new ‘GSPlus’ advertising campaign featuring coach Okan Buruk and the squad.

In recent action, Fenerbahçe secured a 3-0 away victory against Çaykur Rizespor at the Çaykur Didi Stadium. Marco Asensio, returning to the starting lineup after an injury period, opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Subsequent goals were scored by İrfan Can Kahveci in the 83rd minute and Oğuz Aydın in the 87th minute. Aydın, who entered as a substitute, contributed both a goal and an assist. Goalkeeper Ederson maintained a clean sheet, marking his third consecutive match without conceding. This result brings Fenerbahçe to 13 points and third place in the standings, while extending their unbeaten streak against Rizespor to 14 games. Following the match, Çaykur Rizespor manager Recep Uçar noted that while his team controlled parts of the game, they “struggled with finishing and final passes.” Rizespor currently sits in 9th place with 10 points.

In Istanbul, Beşiktaş is set to face Kocaelispor at the Tüpraş Stadium. Both clubs currently hold 12 points, occupying 3rd and 4th positions respectively. Beşiktaş enters the match with a strong home record, having won all seven of its recent matches in Istanbul across domestic and European competitions.
