Turkish garment and textile companies are expanding production into Syria to leverage lower labor costs and support regional industrial recovery. In the first half of 2026, approximately 234 to 247 investment applications were submitted for the textile and ready-to-wear sectors.

Retailer LC Waikiki has begun operations at a new factory in Al-Rai Industrial City near Aleppo, with plans to grow its workforce from 150 to 1,000 employees.
