In Manisa, the Metropolitan Municipality is expanding its ‘Kadın Eli’ (Woman's Hand) project through the ‘Üzüm’ application. This initiative allows cooperatives to operate commission-free digital stores. Planned developments include a dedicated web portal, expanded product categories such as olive oil, and advertising support to increase consumer reach. Similarly, the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality launched the ‘Kahraman Kadın’ platform in collaboration with Kahramanmaraş İstiklal Science and Technology University and the Women and Democracy Foundation (KADEM). The platform offers training and marketing support to transform local manual labor into economic value. For example, in the Türkoğlu district, women in the Kızılağaç Agricultural Development Cooperative use the platform to sell processed goods, such as jams made from locally produced strawberries. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-05: Kahramanmaraş launches digital platform for women entrepreneurs Kahramanmaraş has launched the ‘Kahraman Kadın’ digital platform to help local women entrepreneurs sell products like jams and strawberries online and access economic development training. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/kahramanmara-launches-digital-platform-for-women-entrepreneurs ### 2026-09-30: Manisa expands digital sales platform for women's cooperatives Manisa Metropolitan Municipality is expanding its commission-free ‘Kadın Eli’ digital platform to help women's cooperatives increase economic earnings through online sales. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/manisa-expands-digital-sales-platform-for-womens-cooperatives --- Cite as: Turkish municipal digital platforms for women.
