Turkish municipalities continue to implement various educational support initiatives to assist students with national examinations.

In Kahramanmaraş, the metropolitan municipality’s Pusula Maraş Education Center has commenced level placement exams for thousands of students at Şehit Akif Akçadağ Anatolian High School. This initiative, led by Mayor Fırat Görgel, aims to prepare students for the High School Transition System (LGS) and the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) for the 2026–2027 academic year. The program focuses on promoting equality of opportunity by providing academic instruction, guidance, and support to manage exam anxiety.

Efforts to support Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS) candidates have expanded through intensive review camps. In Ankara, the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) launched its fifth annual 60-hour free review camp at the Kocatepe Cultural Center, providing approximately 1,000 students with study books and instruction in subjects such as history, geography, and mathematics. Similarly, the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality is hosting a review camp at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Cultural Center, featuring specialized sessions like constitutional law lectures to help students refine exam techniques.

Other regional efforts include Bursa’s mock exams for KPSS candidates, Kdz. Ereğli’s General Review Camp, Efeler Municipality’s workshops for 8th and 12th-grade students, and Nevşehir’s ‘KPSS FEST’ scheduled for August 2026.
