Municipalities across Turkey are undertaking various projects to maintain and develop urban green spaces and public parks.

In Kuşadası, the local municipality has launched a city-wide maintenance program managed by the Directorate of Parks and Gardens. These efforts include plant care, the repair of urban furniture such as benches, and the maintenance of children’s playgrounds to improve the city’s aesthetic appeal and livability.

In other regions, development projects are also progressing. In Düzce, a transformation project in the Kültür neighborhood aims to integrate a 46-decare area into a cohesive architectural design called ‘Merkez Park’. Meanwhile, in Yüksekova, construction is underway on a 4,000-square-meter park in the Güngör neighborhood, which includes landscaping and the installation of playground equipment to provide social spaces for the local population.
