The Turkish Red Crescent continues its humanitarian operations in Gaza, including a Prosthesis-Orthosis Support Project for limb loss victims, the daily distribution of 100 tons of clean water, and soup kitchens serving 30,000 people. 

Medical aid remains a primary focus. Through the Gaza Health Support Project, the organization has provided approximately 10.5 million Turkish Lira in medical supplies across 34 categories to the Al Emel and Al Mawasi hospitals. The Turkish Red Crescent has committed to covering medicines, consumables, personnel, and operating expenses for these two hospitals for six months starting October 1, 2025. Additionally, a three-month initiative with a budget of approximately 3.2 million Turkish Lira is supporting patients at the Palestinian Red Crescent Hospital in Cairo. President Prof. Dr. Fatma Meriç Yılmaz has been coordinating with the Egyptian Red Crescent to address the collapsing healthcare system and assist evacuated patients.

Logistical challenges persist at the Rafah Border Crossing. President Yılmaz reported that despite a commitment to allow 600 humanitarian aid trucks into Gaza daily, only about 100 trucks are currently crossing. She noted that 160 trucks of aid prepared by the Turkish Red Crescent are awaiting entry. During visits to the Rafah crossing and El Arish Port, Yılmaz stated that hunger is being used as a “method of punishment,” resulting in severe difficulties accessing food and water. To bypass these restrictions, the organization is utilizing ‘Goodness Ships’ to transport supplies through El Arish Port, where aid is unloaded and transferred to trucks for border transit.
