Various regional sports clubs in Turkey are preparing for their upcoming competitive seasons. In wheelchair basketball, the İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi team is gearing up for its 21st Süper Lig season, aiming for both domestic success and European representation. The team, which holds records such as 105 consecutive wins, is scheduled to begin its campaign on October 24 against a representative from İskenderun. Coach Ali Reyhani has emphasized high ambitions for the season, noting the importance of local government support.

Other regional updates include Selendi Belediyespor beginning training under manager Adem Korkmaz following promotion to the Manisa Süper Amatör League, and İskenderun Belediye Spor holding a season opening ceremony for its disabled basketball team.
