In late September 2026, Turkmenistan conducted several state award ceremonies in connection with the 35th anniversary of the nation’s Independence.

Initial ceremonies in Ashgabat honored individuals and organizations for their contributions to the national economy, socio-economic development, and the fields of culture and art. These honors were presented to workers, production leaders, and ministry representatives following presidential instructions.

Subsequently, President Serdar Berdimuhamedow signed a decree extending state honors, military ranks, and special titles to military and law enforcement personnel. These awards recognized service members for their contributions to national defense, public order, and combat readiness.
