Broadcaster tvN has denied media reports regarding a specific premiere date for ‘The Second Signal’, the sequel to the mystery-crime drama ‘Signal’. While some reports suggested the release had been moved from November 30 to December 7, 2026, the network stated, “Nothing has yet been confirmed regarding the programming of ‘The Second Signal.’”

The production of the sequel, starring Kim Hye-soo and Lee Je-hoon, previously faced delays following controversies involving actor Cho Jin-woong. Although Cho announced his retirement from the industry, reports indicate the production team considered using artificial intelligence to modify or remove his scenes, though a decision was reportedly made to air them without modifications. While filming is complete, the official broadcast schedule remains unconfirmed.
