The Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) celebrated the graduation of 75 new medical surgeons from its Institute of Biomedical Sciences. During a formal swearing-in ceremony on August 18, graduates completed over seven years of training, which included hospital internships and social service in urban and rural Chihuahua. 

UACJ Rector Daniel Alberto Constandse Cortez administered the Hippocratic Oath and the Declaration of Geneva. The event also included the presentation of 54 academic merit awards for high GPAs and exam performance. Daniel Isaac Alcaraz Ortega, the top student in the class, delivered a message emphasizing the necessity of empathy and clinical judgment in patient care.
