The Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMéx) has hosted several cultural and artistic initiatives. The university launched an international traveling exhibition titled ‘Picasso, aún sorprende’ (Picasso, still surprising) in collaboration with the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (FUNIBER). This exhibition features 39 lithographs and an original poster highlighting various stages of Pablo Picasso’s career.

Following this, the university’s Cultural Activities Center inaugurated its 2026 Annual Plastic Exhibition, showcasing 81 works from 27 students across disciplines such as sculpture, oil painting, and photography. Additionally, UAEMéx film students presented short films at the Centro Nacional de las Artes (CENART), which included professional engagement with actress Marina de Tavira.
