In early October 2026, two teams from UAEMéx secured first and second place at LiverHack 2026, a hackathon held at the Liverpool Corporate offices in Mexico City. The competition involved 12 teams from various educational institutions focusing on technological problem-solving. Following this, UAEMéx hosted the inaugural Cienciatón, an AI innovation competition. Supported by Hostinger, the event involved 30 teams from 17 academic departments developing digital prototypes to address social needs.
