The UFC has announced the fight card for UFC 335, scheduled for December 12, 2026, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In the main event, Charles Oliveira is set to defend his BMF title against Diego Lopes. Lopes is moving up from the featherweight division to challenge Oliveira, who won the title in March following a decision victory over Max Holloway. Lopes noted that while he intends to test his power at 155 pounds, his stay in the division may not be permanent. The co-main event features a heavyweight bout between Alex Pereira and Sergei Pavlovich. This five-round contest is considered a critical heavyweight eliminator. Pereira, a former two-division champion, is remaining in the heavyweight category following a second-round TKO loss to Ciryl Gane in June. Analysts have raised concerns regarding Pereira’s transition to the heavier class; Michael Bisping noted potential limitations in mobility, while Alexander Volkov predicted a loss due to Pavlovich’s knockout power. Coach Ray Longo suggested Pereira may be undersized for elite heavyweights, and former fighter Jorge Masvidal remarked that Pavlovich possesses ‘abnormal’ hand speed comparable to middleweights. Regarding his future, the 39-year-old Pereira stated that a transition to professional boxing is ‘kind of impossible’ due to his age and remaining contractual obligations. Having signed an eight-bout agreement in March 2026, Pereira has seven fights remaining and remains focused on becoming the UFC’s first three-division champion. ## Claims - The UFC announced that Alex Pereira will fight Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 335.
