An unnamed well-known individual, referred to in court as “PPT”, has sought a permanent injunction in London’s High Court to prevent Independent Television News (ITN) and Guardian News & Media from publishing allegations of sexual misconduct.

The claimant denies the allegations, which involve claims of pursuing sexual relationships with numerous girls and young women over several years. His legal team argues that publication poses a severe risk to his life, citing a history of serious mental health issues and two recent suicide attempts.
