Budanov accused Colonel General Andrey Ivanayev, commander of the Russian ‘Center’ military grouping, of providing false information to the Russian president and pressuring subordinates to manufacture a military result to validate prior reports. Budanov emphasized that all parties must base decisions on the actual situation on the battlefield rather than misleading information.
