Seven canine teams from the State Customs Service of Ukraine completed a two-week intensive training program in Romania. Held at the Romanian Customs Authority (AVR) Canine Teams Training Centre in Pantelimon, the program focused on improving detection capabilities for drugs, weapons, ammunition, tobacco, and undeclared cash.

Organized by the AVR in partnership with the EU Advisory Mission Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine), the training involved practical exercises such as searching vehicles, luggage, parcels, and cargo warehouses. This initiative represents the third consecutive year Romania has hosted training for Ukrainian units to align law enforcement with EU standards and transfer European best practices.
