Umana Reyer Venezia has experienced recent setbacks in EuroCup competition across both its men’s and women’s basketball programs.

In the men’s division, the club suffered a 90-79 defeat against Maxima Roma. While the teams were tied at halftime, Roma gained control in the third quarter through increased defensive intensity. Following the loss, the club has been negotiating a contract extension for Erick Green through June to maintain roster continuity amid interest from other clubs.

In the women’s division, Reyer Venezia recorded its first loss of the season, falling 67-64 to Israel’s Elitzur Ramle. Despite a 20-point performance from Marena Whittle, the team was unable to prevent late-game scoring from Ramle, which secured the victory for the Israeli side.
