The Universidad Católica del Maule (UCM) Choir is holding a series of free concerts titled ‘Inter Caelum et Terram’ to mark the 35th anniversary of the institution’s autonomy. 

The repertoire includes sacred works by composers such as Gabriel Fauré and John Rutter, as well as secular pieces by artists like George Gershwin and Chico Buarque. Performances are scheduled for September 3 at the Iglesia Sagrada Familia in Talca and September 4 at the UCM Extension Center in Curicó. Choir director María Isabel Fredes stated the goal is to bring music and cultural heritage closer to the community.
