The Università Magna Graecia (UMG) of Catanzaro has demonstrated recent advancements in research, international academic expansion, and institutional leadership.

In late September, the university secured two awards at the D³4Health Summer School & Hackathon in Paestum. The winning projects included ‘Oncoria’, a digital system for managing oncological therapy, and ‘HelpSasà’, a data platform designed for neuroscience research.

Following these achievements, the university announced the accreditation of a new Master’s degree in Rehabilitative Sciences for Health Professions, developed in partnership with the Sports University of Tirana. Additionally, Professor Daniele Torella was elected President of the Academic Senate for a three-year term, with a mandate to advance teaching innovation and scientific research.
