Sources: 7. Developments: 2. The Liga de Fútbol Profesional Peruana (LFPP) rescheduled a match between Universitario de Deportes and Sport Boys from October 28 to November 4 at the Estadio Monumental. This change was made in coordination with the Peruvian National Police to accommodate logistical restrictions caused by the Señor de los Milagros procession. Universitario is entering a dense period in the 2026 Torneo Clausura, with three matches scheduled in eight days: Atlético Grau on November 1, Sport Boys on November 4, and Sport Huancayo on November 8. The club faces roster challenges due to the absences of Matías Di Benedetto, Juan Requena, Jordan Guivin, and Adrián Quiroz. Regarding the fixture against Sport Huancayo, which was previously expected to relocate due to renovations at the Estadio IPD, Sport Huancayo has officially confirmed it will host the match at the Estadio IPD Huancayo. This confirmation follows earlier speculation that the game might be moved to Tarma to accommodate the renewal of the stadium’s athletic track. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-30: Universitario faces intense schedule and squad absences in Liga 1 Clausura Universitario de Deportes faces a demanding eight-day, three-match schedule and multiple player absences as the Liga 1 Clausura 2026 reaches its decisive final stages. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/sport-huancayo-to-move-match-against-universitario-due-to-stadium-renovations ### 2026-10-02: Universitario vs. Sport Boys match rescheduled in Peru The match between Universitario de Deportes and Sport Boys has been rescheduled to November 4 at the Estadio Monumental due to the Señor de los Milagros procession. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/universitario-vs-sport-boys-match-rescheduled-in-peru --- Cite as: Universitario de Deportes match scheduling and squad updates.
