In September 2026, the university began the partial reopening of its renovated Faculty of Education and Psychology at the Sescelades Campus in Tarragona. The 9.5 million euro rehabilitation project, which lasted two years, has enabled 14 classrooms to accommodate approximately 500 students, with plans for full functionality and the inauguration of a magna aula by the second semester. The renovation focused on sustainability, climate control, and structural upgrades such as fire protection and accessibility. In October 2026, the university launched its 2026-2027 academic year for University Extension Classrooms. These programs target citizens over the age of 55 to promote lifelong learning and social interaction.
