The University of Aden has engaged in various academic and diplomatic efforts to support Yemeni higher education and research. 

In Cairo, the President of the University of Aden, Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Lasour, met with the Yemeni Cultural Attaché, Dr. Hadi Al-Sabban, to discuss the status of Yemeni scholarship students in Egypt. The meeting aimed to address academic and administrative challenges to ensure student stability and improve coordination between the university and the cultural mission.

Simultaneously, the university’s research capabilities were highlighted on a regional level. Madiha Abdullah Oubal, a teaching assistant in the Mathematics Department, represented Yemen at the ALECSO Conference for Innovators and Creators in Oman. Oubal presented a mathematical application for food security and smart agriculture that uses environmental data to optimize planting times.
