The Federation of Alumni of the University of Colima (FEUC) organized the 12th FEUC-UdeC race to celebrate the university’s 86th anniversary and raise funds to assist graduates with degree certification costs.

Initial preparations involved securing municipal permits and establishing multiple points of sale. Following these preparations, the event took place on October 18 with a record turnout of 1,674 participants. Due to the high volume of attendees, the starting location was relocated to Universidad Avenue. The race included various distances—3, 5, and 10 kilometers—as well as specialized categories for children, inclusive running, and canicross.
