The University of Guanajuato (UG) has implemented several initiatives to promote its academic programs and support services to prospective students.

In late August and September 2026, the university conducted its Itinerant Profesiographic Fair, which visited 11 high school locations including Salamanca, León, and Celaya. This mobile strategy reached over 2,800 students through informative talks and modules covering admission processes and professional development fields.

Following this, the university hosted an ‘Open Day’ at its Campus León locations. This event engaged more than 650 students through facility tours, scientific workshops, and astronomical observations, showcasing divisions such as Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Science and Engineering.
