Esquerra Unida Podem has criticized the neglect of Ciudad de Asís plaza due to safety risks and has proposed reinvesting funds into public school improvements. Additionally, some neighborhoods have expressed skepticism regarding the feasibility of large-scale projects given the current maintenance state of existing public spaces.
