In Aracaju, the municipal government is implementing initiatives to revitalize and occupy public spaces. Through the ‘Nossa Praça’ program, the city recently inaugurated the revitalization of Praça das Mães in the Aeroporto neighborhood, which involved recovering sidewalks and curbs to improve accessibility for residents and merchants.

Additionally, the ‘Descubra Aracaju’ project, a partnership between the Municipal Tourism Secretariat and Fecomércio/SE, has hosted a week of free cultural and musical programming. These events took place at various locations, including Parque da Sementeira and Praça Tobias Barreto, to encourage the use of urban leisure areas.
