In late July 2026, North Macedonia’s Minister for Relations with Communities, Agon Ferati, met U.S. Ambassador Nicole Varney to discuss the 25‑year anniversary of the Ohrid Framework Agreement and a vision of coexistence, inclusivity and trust. The talks highlighted the United States’ role as a strategic partner in Macedonia’s democratic development and Euro‑Atlantic integration.
