Republican candidates in New York are adopting political strategies modeled after Donald Trump, with gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman focusing on immigration and criticisms of Democratic administration. In the race for Attorney General, the Super PAC ‘Strong and Safe New York’—funded by James Dolan and Steve Wynn—is launching a seven-figure advertising campaign to support Republican Saritha Komatireddy against incumbent Letitia James.

Broadly, political action committees are reallocating advertising expenditures across various battleground districts. The Senate Majority PAC has redirected approximately $7 million toward Democratic Senate nominees in Michigan and Maine after reducing spending in North Carolina and Georgia. Meanwhile, Republican and MAGA Inc.-aligned super PACs, such as the Congressional Leadership Fund and No Going Back PAC Inc., have paused over $11 million in scheduled television advertisements targeting Democratic Representative Tom Suozzi in New York’s 3rd Congressional District.
