Sources: 11. Developments: 3. UYBA Busto Arsizio has begun preparations for the 2026/27 women’s Serie A1 season, focusing on athletic training and facility management. During the fourth week of pre-season, the squad integrated returning national team players Valeria Battista and Dalila Marchesini, while awaiting the arrival of Leana Grozer. General Director Mattia Moro identified a need for structural improvements to the club’s e-work arena to support its long-term sporting and corporate goals. Due to the unavailability of their home arena on Viale Gabardi, the club confirmed it will play its first three home matches at the Biella Forum. This 5,000-capacity venue will host matches against Novara on October 4, Bergamo on October 18, and Talmassons on October 21. President Andrea Saini expressed gratitude to the Municipality of Biella for the use of the facility and expects to announce a permanent venue for the rest of the season within ten days. Ahead of their league debut against Igor Gorgonzola Novara, the club held a gala event at Designpuntozero to officially present its roster and new kits. Designed by technical sponsor Macron, the new kit collection includes a red home kit with vertical bands fading from black to burgundy, and a libero uniform featuring a chocolate-inspired color palette. The away kit utilizes a combination of white and ‘Moto Indigo,’ a color developed in collaboration with Pantone and inspired by long-standing sponsor Motorola. During the official presentation, coach Enrico Barbolini introduced a roster that includes new Japanese players Yukiko Wada, Nanami Seki, and Miku Otomo. The club is also awaiting the arrival of Mexican player Melanie Parra. President Saini acknowledged the additional travel effort required from fans and expressed hope to attract new supporters in the Biella region. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-01: UYBA Busto Arsizio unveils 2026/27 season kits and roster Laica Cioccolato UYBA Busto Arsizio unveiled its 2026/27 season roster and new Macron kits, featuring a unique 'Moto Indigo' away design, ahead of their match against Igor Gorgonzola Novara. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/uyba-busto-arsizio-unveils-202627-season-kits-and-roster ### 2026-10-01: UYBA Busto Arsizio to play first three home matches in Biella UYBA Busto Arsizio will play its first three home volleyball matches of the 2026/27 season at the Biella Forum due to arena unavailability, starting with a derby against Novara on October 4. 8 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/uyba-busto-arsizio-to-play-home-matches-in-biella ### 2026-09-06: UYBA Busto Arsizio begins pre-season training and facility upgrades Laica UYBA Busto Arsizio begins its fourth week of pre-season training, welcoming back key players while leadership calls for necessary structural upgrades to the e-work arena. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/uyba-busto-arsizio-begins-pre-season-training-and-facility-upgrades --- Cite as: UYBA Busto Arsizio season preparations and venue changes.
