Ukrainian boxer Vasiliy Lomachenko has announced his return to professional boxing in the super featherweight (130-pound) division. His manager, Egis Klimas, indicated that the comeback is intended to allow Lomachenko to become the undisputed world champion in his natural weight class.

Initial plans suggested targeting WBA champion Anthony Cacace to position Lomachenko for a challenge against the winner of the Emanuel Navarrete and O’Shaquie Foster fight. Lomachenko later confirmed his intention to pursue undisputed status, noting that his previous departure from the sport was influenced by the 135-pound division not being his natural weight. At 38 years old, the fighter expressed optimism regarding his preparation despite the challenges of returning to the ring.
