A black BMW crashed through the storefront of Zinke Hair Studio near the St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Surveillance footage showed the vehicle attempting to park at low speed before suddenly accelerating through the main window, traveling approximately nine meters into the establishment.

The impact pinned several people against the reception desk, including salon owner Bert Peterson’s manager and clients Aubrie (Ombri) Simpson-Gotham and her husband, Steven Gotham. While Simpson-Gotham reportedly suffered no internal injuries, Steven Gotham sustained a chest contusion. All three individuals involved in the impact survived.

The crash caused extensive property damage, forcing the salon to close for at least a week and leaving approximately 20 stylists without immediate work at that location.
