Venezuelan athletes have achieved notable success at Gulfstream Park during the 2026 racing season.

In mid-September, jockey Leonel Reyes Ramos secured five victories during a single nine-race program, including a streak of four consecutive wins. During the same period, trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. won the Princess Rooney (G3) with Kerry’s Kiss, a victory that qualified the horse for the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint.

By early October, Leonel Reyes Ramos continued his strong performance, recording a double victory to reach 20 wins in the Sunshine Meet and maintaining his lead in the standings. Additionally, Venezuelan jockey Marcos Meneses secured two back-to-back wins, bringing his season total to 31 victories.
