Venice is hosting major contemporary cultural events, including the 19th edition of Contemporary Venice and the 70th edition of Biennale Musica. Contemporary Venice, held at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello, explores the relationship between the body and inhabited spaces through sections titled ‘Mixing Identities’ and ‘Future Landscapes.’

Simultaneously, the 70th Biennale Musica is taking place at the Arsenale under the artistic direction of Caterina Barbieri. The festival, themed ‘The Child of Sound,’ explores music as a symbol of revolution and healing. The event saw a 4% increase in attendance, with 40% of the audience arriving from abroad. Notable highlights included the ‘Musica Libera’ project, featuring performances by female inmates from the Giudecca prison, and the festival's conclusion with Barbieri’s work, ‘Non puoi contare l’infinito,’ which integrated an orchestra with electronic music and analog synthesizers.
